Easy Butter Pie/Quiche Crust
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cold salted butter, sliced
1/2 cup cold water
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor, such as a Ninja with the dough bowl and paddle, and mix until thoroughly combined. If you don’t have a food processor, mixing the dough with a hand mixer works as well.
- Once dough forms, divide into two equal portions. If using right away, roll out and place in pie dish. If freezing, wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place in a plastic container or plastic bag to avoid freezer burn. When ready to use, allow dough to defrost completely before attempting to roll out.
*Note: if you prefer a sweet crust for your pie recipes, just add a teaspoon of sugar to this dough!
